X Ray Technician

As an X Ray Technician, your primary role will be to perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment. You will work closely with doctors and patients to provide accurate images for medical evaluation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Conduct X-Ray Examinations:** Perform various X-ray procedures on patients as per physician’s orders while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

- **Prepare Patients:** Explain the procedure to patients, ensuring they understand what to expect and addressing any concerns they may have to alleviate anxiety.

- **Operate Imaging Equipment:** Set up and operate X-ray machines, adjusting settings as needed to obtain high-quality images.

- **Maintain Equipment:** Regularly check and clean X-ray machines to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues to the administration.

- **Record Patient Information:** Accurately document patient details and examination results in the medical records for future reference and treatment planning.

- **Follow Safety Procedures:** Adhere to all safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure to radiation.

- **Collaborate with Healthcare Team:** Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other professionals to share findings and assist in diagnosis.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

Candidates must possess a diploma in radiologic technology or related field. A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills are essential to interact effectively with patients and team members. You should have knowledge of radiologic safety standards and be proficient in operating imaging equipment.
