Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proficient WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal

candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites

with a strong focus on performance, functionality, and user experience. You should have

expertise in WordPress themes, plugins, and custom coding, along with an eye for design and

detail.

Key Responsibilities

— Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.

— Customize existing themes and plugins to meet business requirements.

— Ensure website performance optimization (speed, responsiveness, and scalability).

Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external services.

— Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.

— Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to implement web

projects.

— Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies.

— Conduct regular website testing, backups, and updates.

— Maintain strong documentation for custom solutions and workflows.

Requirements

— Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (portfolio required)

— Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

— Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.).

— Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development/customization.

— Understanding of MySQL databases and website hosting environments (cPanel, VPS,

etc.).

— Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.

— Knowledge of version control tools (Git/GitHub).

— Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

— Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

— Experience with WooCommerce, LMS, or membership sites.

— Knowledge of REST API and headless WordPress setups.

— Familiarity with modern frameworks (React, Vue, ) is a plus.

— Prior experience in working within an agency or fast-paced environment.
