Job Title: WordPress Developer (Full-Time)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our growing digital team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites with a strong focus on performance, security, and UI/UX.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites

Customize themes and plugins as per project requirements

Convert Figma / PSD / HTML designs into WordPress

Optimize website speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness

Integrate third-party APIs, forms, and payment gateways

Troubleshoot issues related to plugins, themes, and hosting

Ensure website security, backups, and updates

Coordinate with designers, SEO, and marketing teams

Handle website migration, hosting, and domain management

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP

Experience with custom themes & plugins

Familiarity with Elementor / WPBakery / Gutenberg

Basic understanding of MySQL

Knowledge of SEO-friendly development

Experience with WooCommerce is a plus

Understanding of website hosting & cPanel

Preferred (Good to Have)

Knowledge of REST API

Experience with Git / Version Control

Basic knowledge of Page Speed Optimization

Awareness of security plugins & best practices

Qualification

Any Graduate / Diploma in IT, CS, or related field

Certification in WordPress / Web Development is a plus
