Welder - Contractor

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Singtam East Sikkim. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in welding and metal fabrication. This position is suited for male candidates who have completed at least the 10th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Welding Tasks**: Perform various welding techniques to join metals and materials, ensuring strong and durable connections.

2. **Blueprint Interpretation**: Read and understand technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute welding assignments according to project specifications.

3. **Equipment Maintenance**: Regularly inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are upheld.

4. **Quality Control**: Conduct inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary.

5. **Safety Compliance**: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your teammates.

Required Skills and Expectations:

Candidates must possess strong technical skills in welding, including expertise in various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. The welder should have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines. Good communication skills are necessary to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
