Welder - Full Time

He will be responsible for fabricating, joining, assembling, and repairing metal structures, process equipment, structural steel, and piping systems. He will work from technical blueprints and engineering drawings to deliver structural welds and high-quality argon-shielded joints.

Able to work in cleanroom environments requiring full gowning (PPE).

Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, or around active processing equipment.

Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, or respond to emergency maintenance calls when required.

Read and interpret engineering blueprints, isometric drawings, and weld symbols to layout, measure, cut, align, and tack-weld complex assemblies and pipe joints.

Clean, bevel, grind, and prepare metals prior to welding. Select appropriate filler metals, electrode sizes, and shielding gas (Argon) flow rates based on material type and thickness.

Ensure full root penetration, smooth bead appearance, and defect-free welds (preventing porosity, undercut, slag inclusions, or excessive distortion) for both structural and pressure applications.

Conduct visual inspection of completed welds and assist with non-destructive testing (NDT), dye-penetrant testing (DPT), or hydrostatic pressure testing as required.

Maintain welding machines, torches, regulators, gas cylinders, and hand tools in optimal working condition. Troubleshoot basic equipment faults.

Strict compliance with Hot Work Permits, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry rules, and mandatory use of proper PPE (welding helmets, respirators, leather gloves, and protective boots).

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in structural fabrication, heavy equipment, and pharma industrial plant maintenance

Mastery of welding parameters (Amperage, Voltage, Polarity, Argon Gas purity/flow rate).

Proficiency with cutting equipment (Plasma cutters, Oxy-acetylene torches) and angle grinders.
