position overview:

we are looking for a highly skilled web developer & seo expert to join our team. the ideal candidate is proficient in creating and managing websites on platforms like wordpress, wix, and squarespace (knowledge of additional platforms is a bonus) and has a deep understanding of seo best practices, including on-page optimization, ga4 tracking, and gtm implementation. if you are a tech-savvy professional with expertise in web development, seo strategy, keyword analysis, and ai tools like chatgpt, we want to hear from you!

key responsibilities:

web development:

design, develop, and maintain websites on platforms such as wordpress, wix, and squarespace, ensuring responsive and user-friendly designs.

customize website themes, plugins, and integrations to meet specific client needs.

troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring website performance, speed, and security.

seo optimization:

optimize web pages for on-page seo, including meta titles, meta descriptions, alt tags, internal linking, and structured content.

conduct keyword analysis to identify and implement high-performing keywords across web pages.

leverage chatgpt or similar ai tools to create seo-friendly content and metadata.

stay updated on search engine algorithms and implement changes to maintain high rankings.

analytics & tracking:

set up and manage ga4 (google analytics 4) for tracking user behavior and conversions.

implement and troubleshoot google tag manager (gtm) for efficient tracking and tag management.

monitor website performance, traffic, and seo rankings, providing regular reports and insights.

content strategy & execution:

collaborate with content creators to ensure seo-friendly website copy.

use keyword research tools to plan and optimize blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions.

identify opportunities for improved content, user experience, and lead generation strategies.

keyword analysis:

perform in-depth keyword research to identify gaps, opportunities, and strategies for growth.

analyze competitors seo and keyword strategies to stay ahead of the market.

collaboration:

work closely with the design, marketing, and content teams to align website functionality and seo strategies with brand goals.

provide technical and strategic recommendations to enhance the overall digital marketing efforts.

qualifications:

proficiency in website development platforms: wordpress, wix, squarespace (additional platform experience is a bonus).

seo expertise: proven experience in on-page seo, keyword analysis, meta tags, and alt text implementation.

analytics & tracking knowledge: hands-on experience with ga4 setup, tracking, and reporting, along with gtm implementation.

strong understanding of ai tools like chatgpt to optimize content creation.

familiarity with seo tools such as semrush, ahrefs, or google keyword planner.

solid understanding of html, css, and basic javascript for seo and web development purposes.

excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

preferred qualifications:

knowledge of technical seo (schema markup, page speed optimization, etc.).

experience with website migrations and ensuring seo consistency during transitions.

understanding of ux/ui principles to enhance user engagement and lead conversion.
