Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Waste Pickers to join our operations team in Vadodara. As a Waste Picker, you will be responsible for collecting and segregating plastic and other floating waste from selected kaans (stormwater drains) and trash collection sites across the city. This is a full-time opportunity to be part of a purpose-driven global initiative that values hard work, safety, and environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

Collect floating waste from water drains using manual tools and protective gear.

Segregate plastic waste from organic and other non-recyclable waste at assigned locations.

Assist in loading and unloading collected waste to designated sorting centers or pickup points.

Report any blockages or issues in the drains to the site supervisor.

Maintain hygiene, safety, and discipline at all work sites.

Work collaboratively with team members and follow all operational protocols.

Requirements

Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions.

Prior experience in waste collection, cleaning, or related work preferred but not mandatory.

Must be punctual, responsible, and willing to follow instructions.

Willingness to work in various locations across Vadodara.

Basic understanding of waste segregation is an advantage.

Must be over 18 years of age.
