position: warehouse worker

location: various locations in poland

salary: 5,500 – 7,000 pln per month (depending on experience and employer)

working hours: 40 hours per week (monday – friday)

key responsibilities:

receiving goods: accepting incoming shipments, inspecting and verifying the products against orders, and storing them appropriately.

inventory management: keeping track of stock levels, organizing the warehouse, and ensuring products are easily accessible.

order picking: picking products from the shelves as per customer orders, ensuring the correct items and quantities are chosen.

packing orders: packaging items securely for shipment, labeling them with proper details, and preparing them for dispatch.

loading/unloading: assisting with the loading and unloading of goods from delivery trucks.

maintaining safety standards: ensuring that safety guidelines are followed within the warehouse, using equipment properly, and reporting any hazards.

cleaning and organizing: keeping the warehouse clean and orderly, maintaining storage spaces, and ensuring that materials are stored safely.

operating machinery: in some cases, operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery to move large items (if qualified).

required skills:

physical fitness: ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods.

attention to detail: ensuring accuracy in order picking, packing, and inventory.

basic computer skills: using warehouse management software or scanning devices.

teamwork: ability to work well with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

communication: understanding instructions and communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues.

problem-solving: addressing issues that may arise in the workflow, such as missing or damaged items.

qualifications:

no formal education required, but high school diploma or equivalent is often preferred.

previous experience in warehouse work or logistics is a plus
