Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of optical components and products.
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
Storage and Organization:
Properly store optical components and products in designated warehouse locations.
Implement organization systems to optimize space and facilitate easy retrieval.
Order Fulfilment:
Prepare and pack orders for shipment according to customer specifications and shipping guidelines.
Ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of optical systems.
Quality Assurance:
Perform regular quality checks on stored and incoming optical products.
Report and address any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues promptly.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with production, packing, and shipping teams to fulfill orders and maintain seamless workflow.
Communicate effectively with team members to address inventory-related requirements.
Equipment Operation:
Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Generate shipping documents and labels as required.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines within the warehouse.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics is a plus.
Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with optical components and systems is advantageous.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems and basic computer skills.
Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
