AsiaCap Investment Advisory Private Ltd provides high quality analytical and business management support to the Offshore Fund and Corporate Finance market. We are looking at the fitment for the post of VP-Investment Research to provide advisory and analytics services to offshore funds. The candidate should have an experience of 5 to 7 years across the capital structure both credit and equity. Key skills required are financial modelling & Valuation.

The role would also require research on fixed income issues and issuers, monitoring performance, and building an investment thesis for capital raising.

JOB ROLE REQUITEMENT

Analyse and monitor fixed income issues and issuers

Detailed offer document analysis from a credit perspective

Perform market and portfolio analysis to support fixed income strategies.

Perform simulations and stress tests on proposed and existing portfolios.

Analyse financial statements and develop investment thesis when required.

Construction and review of yield curve across issuers, sectors and rating categories.

Prepare valuation models using excel/VBA.

Prepare & maintain documentation related to valuations

Prepare advanced financial models, detailed valuation strategies and deal flow analysis

Ability to work with limited information, unaudited financials, strategy writeups, meeting notes, transcripts to build a comprehensive investment case

Explore optimal capital structure considerations involving equity-linked, high yield, mezzanine and other middle market debt instruments

Participate in all stages of equity, debt and other transactions along with the client, including the development of financial models, due diligence sessions, the drafting of sales memos, company presentations etc.

Exceptional analytical skills along an ability to articulately convey conclusions

Ability to collaborate as well as work independently

Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
