VMC Operator

we are looking for an experienced vmc operator to run and maintain vertical machining centers efficiently. the ideal candidate should have strong cnc machining knowledge, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality components in a safe work environment.

key responsibilities:

set up and operate vmc machines for production.

read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

select and set up tooling, fixtures, and work holding devices.

perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

make necessary machine adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality.

troubleshoot minor issues and report major concerns.

maintain a clean and safe workspace following 5s standards.

record production data and follow company procedures.

required skills & qualifications:

high school diploma / iti / diploma in mechanical (preferred).

experience in vmc operation and setup.

ability to read technical drawings and g-code basics.

hands-on experience with measuring instruments.

strong understanding of machining processes and materials.

good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

safety-focused and quality-driven.
