key responsibilities

post-production execution:

assembling raw footage into a cohesive, narrative sequence according to scripts, storyboards, or creative briefs.

utilizing editing software (., adobe premiere pro, final cut pro) to cut, trim, and arrange video segments.

implementing motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and visual effects (vfx) as required.

audio & visual polishing:

performing color correction and grading to establish a consistent and desired aesthetic.

mixing, balancing, and editing audio files, including music, voiceovers, and sound effects, to achieve optimal sound quality.

ensuring all visual and audio elements meet broadcast or platform-specific technical standards.

creative collaboration & review:

collaborating closely with the director, producer, and creative team throughout the production and post-production process.

incorporating feedback and revisions efficiently and accurately.

keeping up-to-date with new editing technologies, industry best practices, and video trends.

asset management & delivery:

organizing and maintaining a digital library of media assets (footage, graphics, audio).

encoding, compressing, and delivering final video files in various required formats (., web, social media, broadcast).

managing project timelines and ensuring timely delivery for multiple projects simultaneously.

qualifications and skills

required qualifications:

education: a bachelor's degree in film, media arts, video production, or a related field (or equivalent portfolio/practical experience).

essential skills:
