As a Veterinary Assistant, you will assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing quality veterinary care and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our animal patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in various procedures, including examinations, vaccinations, and surgeries.

• Handle and restrain animals during procedures and treatments.

• Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment setup.

• Provide assistance in diagnostic procedures, such as taking radiographs or collecting lab samples.

• Administer medications, treatments, and basic wound care under veterinary supervision.

• Monitor animals' vital signs and report any abnormal observations to the veterinary team.

• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and procedures.

• Clean and disinfect animal enclosures and clinic areas.

• Provide support and comfort to animals and their owners during their visit.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required.

• Passion for animals and their welfare.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
