responsibilities:

• assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in various procedures, including examinations, vaccinations, and surgeries.

• handle and restrain animals during procedures and treatments.

• prepare examination rooms and surgical areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment setup.

• provide assistance in diagnostic procedures, such as taking radiographs or collecting lab samples.

• administer medications, treatments, and basic wound care under veterinary supervision.

• monitor animals' vital signs and report any abnormal observations to the veterinary team.

• maintain accurate records of patient treatments and procedures.

• clean and disinfect animal enclosures and clinic areas.

• provide support and comfort to animals and their owners during their visit.

• adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

requirements:

• high school diploma or equivalent.

• previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required.

• passion for animals and their welfare.

• strong communication and interpersonal skills.
