The TIG Welder is responsible for performing precision welding using the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) process to fabricate and repair metal components. This role requires a high degree of skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
Weld metal components together to fabricate or repair products according to specifications.
Inspect welds for accuracy and quality using measuring tools and visual inspection.
Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, or cleaning welded surfaces.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members on production requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow company procedures, policies, and safety regulations.
