Job Summary:
A TIG Welder is responsible for welding stainless steel, mild steel, and other metal components using the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding process. The role involves reading technical drawings, ensuring weld quality, and maintaining safety standards during fabrication and assembly activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Weld stainless steel and mild steel components with high-quality finishing.
Prepare, align, and fit metal parts before welding.
Inspect welds for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
Operate and maintain welding equipment safely.
Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times.
Assist in fabrication and assembly work as required.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area and tools.
Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to complete jobs on time.
