As a TIG & Arc Welder in Bahrain, you will be responsible for creating strong and precise welds on various metal materials. Your role will include the following key responsibilities:
- Read and Interpret Blueprints: Understand technical drawings and blueprints to determine the specifications for each welding task.
- Perform TIG and Arc Welding: Use both TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and Arc welding techniques to join metals, ensuring high-quality and durable welds.
- Set Up Welding Equipment: Prepare and maintain welding equipment, adjusting settings for each specific job to achieve optimal results.
- Inspect Welds: Examine completed welded joints for defects or weaknesses and make necessary repairs to ensure structural integrity.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines and standards to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your co-workers.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the welding area and equipment clean and organized to ensure efficiency and safety in your work environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience in Welding: A minimum of 2 years of experience with TIG and Arc welding techniques is required, with a preference for candidates having up to 8 years.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using welding tools and equipment, along with a strong understanding of welding processes.
