As a Telesales Executive, your main responsibility will be to make outbound calls to potential customers to promote and sell products or services. You will need to accurately describe products and services, answer questions from customers, and meet sales targets.
Key responsibilities include initiating sales calls to potential customers, introducing products or services and explaining their features and benefits, answering questions and addressing customer concerns, closing sales and achieving sales targets, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, and following up on leads generated by marketing campaigns.
To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be persuasive and able to handle objections, have a positive attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You must also be results-driven, have a good understanding of sales principles, be organized and have the ability to multitask. Previous experience in telesales or customer service is a plus, but not required. A graduate degree is preferred.
