key responsibilities:
• install and commission telecommunications systems (wired and wireless networks, and fiber optic systems).
• monitor network performance and troubleshoot system faults to ensure minimal downtime.
• conduct regular maintenance and upgrades of telecom hardware and software.
• manage and optimize bandwidth utilization, routing, and network traffic.
• integrate telecom systems with it infrastructure for seamless data and voice transmission.
• ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations and company policies.
• collaborate with vendors and service providers for network expansions, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• prepare technical documentation, reports, and network diagrams.
• support security measures for telecommunications systems, including encryption and access control.
qualifications:
• bachelor’s degree in telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• proven experience in telecom or network engineering (typically 2–5 years).
• strong understanding of network protocols (tcp/ip, sip, mpls, etc.).
• hands-on experience with voip, routers, switches, and optical transmission systems.
• knowledge of wireless technologies (4g, 5g, lte, wi-fi).
• strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• excellent communication and documentation abilities.
preferred (optional):
• have good experience with nokia eq. (ran & mw).
• have a valid driving license.
