Key Responsibilities:
• Install and commission telecommunications systems (wired and wireless networks, and fiber optic systems).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot system faults to ensure minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades of telecom hardware and software.
• Manage and optimize bandwidth utilization, routing, and network traffic.
• Integrate telecom systems with IT infrastructure for seamless data and voice transmission.
• Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for network expansions, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and network diagrams.
• Support security measures for telecommunications systems, including encryption and access control.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in telecom or network engineering (typically 2–5 years).
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, MPLS, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with VoIP, routers, switches, and optical transmission systems.
• Knowledge of wireless technologies (4G, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred (Optional):
• Have good experience with Nokia Eq. (RAN & MW).
• Have a valid driving license.
