Tech Lead (Java N Golang+React/angular)-10+ Years-Fort,Mumbai

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of our core products while guiding a team of 10+ engineers. This is a deeply technical role - you'll spend approximately 70% of your time writing code, reviewing pull requests, and solving complex engineering problems, while also setting technical direction and mentoring the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the architecture, design, and implementation of major features and systems end-to-end.

• Write high-quality, production-grade code daily across the stack (primarily Java and Golang on the backend, with frontend development as needed).

• Lead and mentor a team of 10+ engineers through code reviews.

• Collaborate with the product team to shape requirements into well-defined deliverables.

• Break down requirements into clear, well-scoped tasks for the team.

• Track daily status, identify risks and dependencies, and manage mitigation plans.

• Manage technical debt and champion best practices in testing, CI/CD, security, and performance.

• Troubleshoot critical production issues and drive root-cause analysis.

• Partner with leadership to hire, onboard, and grow engineering talent.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, including 4-5 years leading teams or large initiatives.

• Deep backend expertise in Java and Golang.

• Strong frontend expertise in modern frameworks like React and Angular.

• Solid grounding in system design, distributed systems, and API design.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven track record of shipping and operating production systems at scale.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and influence others.

NICE TO HAVE

• Hands-on experience with Python for services, scripting, or automation.

• Strong SQL expertise, including query optimization and schema design.

• Experience scaling systems for high traffic or large data volumes.

• Exposure to microservices, event-driven architectures, or platform engineering.

• Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or product company.

Mumbai based candidates will be given 1st priority for interview.
