Job Summary:

The Storekeeper is responsible for efficiently managing inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing facility by maintaining accurate records and handling materials effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and supplies.

2. Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.

3. Organize and maintain an efficient and well-organized storage area.

4. Issue materials and supplies to production teams as needed.

5. Perform regular stock checks to ensure optimal inventory levels.

6. Collaborate with the purchasing department to place orders for materials.

7. Coordinate with the production team to ensure materials are available on time.

8. Comply with safety and quality standards in material handling.

9. Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate parties.

10. Ensure the security and integrity of the storage area.

11. Keep all records up to date and provide necessary reports to management.
