As a Staff Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in a hospital or healthcare facility, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality, compassionate care. ### **Key Responsibilities:**

* **Patient Care:**

* Provide direct, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions.

* Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in patient conditions.

* Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with patient care plans.

* Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.

* Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.

* **Documentation and Reporting:**

* Accurately document patient information, nursing interventions, and responses to treatment.

* Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare team members to ensure the quality of care.

* Report any changes in a patient's condition promptly to the appropriate healthcare professional.

* **Collaboration and Teamwork:**

* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and technicians.

* Assist in patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as necessary.

* Participate in patient care planning and review meetings.

* **Infection Control & Safety:**

* Ensure adherence to infection control policies and procedures.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.

* Monitor and maintain patient safety during procedures, treatments, and transfers.

* **Patient Education:**

* Educate patients and their families on health management, post-discharge care, and disease prevention.

* Provide information on medication regimens, side effects, and potential complications.

* **Professional Development:**

* Stay updated on the latest medical practices, nursing techniques, and hospital policies.

* Participate in training, workshops, and educational programs to further enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

### **Required Qualifications:**

* Registered Nurse (RN) licensure from an accredited nursing program.

* Valid and current nursing license as required by state/country regulations.

* CPR/BLS certification.

* Previous experience in a healthcare setting (preferred but not required).
