STAFF NURSE

Provide the best patient care.

Provide nursing care as per physician orders and nursing care plan

Communicating and interacting effectively with patients and their attendants,

Families and visitors to promote patients comfort and speedy recovery and resolve any patient hospital problems.

Assigning doctors during patient examination, surgery, Anesthesia, invasive procedures.

Attending to ward routine maintaining patient and ward records, stocking and replenishing drug and other supplies , assisting at other ward management

activities.

Performing procedures first aid, wound dressing, suture removal, catheterization etc.

Orienting new staff.

Follow up on staff investigation results.

Updating Bed occupancy.

Filling result of investigation on patients file

Liaison with medical records section.

Upkeep of ward register.

Responsible for correct color coded disposal of Bio Medical Waste.
