Full job description
1. Monitor and record vital signs, fetal heart rates, and contractions during labor.
2. Assist in the management of pain and administer prescribed medications.
3. Care for patients undergoing treatment for gynaecological conditions, such as fibroids, PCOS, or infertility.
4. Educate patients about reproductive health, prenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and breastfeeding.
5. Provide emotional support to patients dealing with infertility or pregnancy loss
6. Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, nursing care, medications administered, and clinical observations.
7. Adhere to hospital policies and ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Emergency Care Management:
8. Identify and manage obstetric emergencies such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress.
9. Initiate emergency protocols and assist during neonatal resuscitation if required.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Education: . Nursing / GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) from a recognized institution.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a Gynaecology/Obstetrics department.
