we are looking for an experienced sports teacher to join our team. the successful candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and assessing a curriculum that meets the educational and recreational needs of school age students.

responsibilities:

- develop fun and engaging lesson plans for physical education, outdoor sports, and indoor sports.

- teach students the fundamentals of various sports and games.

- foster an environment of sportsmanship and camaraderie in the gymnasium and on the fields/courts.

- regularly assess student progress and give feedback/assistance as appropriate.

- each physical education class, ensure the safety of students by setting realistic expectations and providing supervision.

- provide resources to students for researching and exploring sports and recreation.

- serve as a positive role model and mentor to students and exercise strong leadership skills.

requirements:

- bachelor’s degree in physical education or related field.

- minimum of 5 years of experience as a sports teacher in a school setting.

- knowledge of current school physical education standards.

- thorough knowledge of outdoor and indoor sports.

- ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and parents.
