# 🔧 FIBER SPLICER - JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Fiber Splicer / Fiber Optic Technician

Employment: Full-Time

Experience: 1-3 Years

Location: Tamil Nadu

### 🎓 Qualification

* 10th / 12th / ITI / Diploma

* Telecom / Electrical / Electronics background preferred

* Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered

### 📌 Job Responsibilities

* Perform Fiber Optic Cable Splicing and termination.

* Handle Fusion Splicing Machine and fiber joint closures.

* Perform fiber testing using OTDR, OPM and VFL.

* Identify and troubleshoot fiber faults and connectivity issues.

* Perform FTTH/FTTx installation and maintenance activities.

* Maintain proper fiber routing, jointing and documentation.

* Follow safety procedures and quality standards.

* Coordinate with field teams for installation and fault restoration.

### 🛠️ Required Skills

* Hands-on experience in Fusion Splicing

* Knowledge of OTDR / OPM / VFL

* Basic understanding of FTTH/FTTx networks

* Ability to troubleshoot fiber faults

* Willingness to work in the field

* Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred

### 💰 Salary

₹27,000 - ₹35,000 per month
