looking for individuals who have been in an architecture role for at least 3 years, with a strong background in java, cloud, nosql

architecture

- decision-making/recommendation responsibility

- togaf, archimate, ideally c4 modelling

- demonstrable experience in harvesting architecture patterns and documenting team

- strong understanding of microservices, event architectures, cqrs

- strong understanding of aws/azure/gcp, ideally certified to architect level

leadership

- java engineering background

- team leading

- agile/scrum engineering experience

- devops experience

technical

- kafka streams, or apache heron

- nosql: mongodb, cassandra/scyalldb design

- kubernetes, istio

- api gateways - apigee, mulesoft, cloud gateways

- security architecture iam, rbac

- architecture design patterns

business:

- ideally transaction based projects in payments, or similar

- banking/insurance or regulated industry

- or product company background to those industries

- history of solution design and ideally lead to the implementation

education

- bsc in maths, physics, electrical engineering

- msc in computing

- certified in cloud technologies to architect level, ideally “well-architected cloud” level

- certified in safe or agile practice
