Soldering Technician
A Soldering Technician is responsible for assembling and repairing electronic parts by soldering components onto circuit boards or other materials. This job requires attention to detail, steady hands, and the ability to follow instructions.
Responsibilities:
Soldering Components: Attach electronic components to circuit boards using a soldering iron.
Inspecting Work: Check solder joints to ensure they are clean, secure, and free of defects.
Reading Blueprints: Follow diagrams, schematics, or instructions to place components correctly.
Repairing Defects: Fix or replace damaged parts or solder joints as needed.
Maintaining Tools: Clean and maintain soldering equipment to ensure smooth operation.
Quality Control: Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
• ITI or Diploma in educational background.
• Experience with soldering tools and techniques.
• Ability to work with small parts and tools.
• Understanding of basic electronics and circuit diagrams.
• Good eyesight and hand-eye coordination.
• Patience and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills (optional but helpful).
