Responsibilities
Understand product requirements, user flows, and expected application behavior.
Create and execute test cases for web, mobile, or software applications.
Identify, document, and track defects clearly with proper steps to reproduce.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and usability testing.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues.
Verify bug fixes and ensure that changes do not affect existing functionality.
Participate in test planning, test documentation, and release validation.
Learn and contribute to manual and automation testing practices.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
Knowledge of different testing types, such as functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
Ability to write clear test cases, bug reports, and test scenarios.
Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and SQL.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Postman, Git, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and learn quickly.
