Job Description

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Develop Test Plans:** Create detailed test plans based on software requirements to ensure all aspects of the application are covered.

- **Execute Test Cases:** Run manual and automated test cases to find defects and assess the functionality of the software.

- **Defect Reporting:** Identify and document defects clearly in the tracking system, providing sufficient details to facilitate quick resolution.

- **Collaborate with Developers:** Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and confirm fixes, ensuring that the final product meets quality standards.

- **Performance Testing:** Conduct performance and security testing to verify the software's stability and resilience under various conditions.

- **Continuous Improvement:** Recommend improvements to testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

- Proficiency in test automation tools and programming languages; experience with tools like Selenium is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues effectively.

- Good communication skills to collaborate within the team and articulate findings clearly.

- Ability to work independently and manage tasks within tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
