responsibilities:

when securing the load: tying the load using lifting devices in accordance with special instructions

checking the weight of the load, uniformity and reliability of the sling;

hang on a hook and give the load the position required for safe lifting;

when lifting and moving cargo: safety control of lifting, monitoring of cargo during movement. all actions of the slinger are necessarily accompanied by the supply of voice or gesture signals to the crane operator;

when lowering a load: inspect the drop site for foreign objects, install chocks if necessary, remove slings after installation and, if necessary, secure the load
