Skill Assessor - Textile, Handloom & Handicraft

Yuva Skill Foundation is looking for experienced Skill Assessors for part-time/freelance, work under skill development projects across India.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct practical and competency-based skill assessments as per prescribed assessment standards and guidelines.

Evaluate candidates on practical skills, technical knowledge and work performance.

Verify assessment evidence and maintain accurate assessment records.

Follow assessment SOPs, quality standards and compliance requirements.

Coordinate with candidates, training centres and the internal assessment team.

Ensure fair, objective and accurate assessment of candidates.

Complete assessment documentation and submit required evidence within timelines.

Eligibility:

Diploma / Graduate / Post Graduate qualification in Textile, Handloom, Handicraft, Fashion, Fashion Design, Textile Design or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.

Good practical knowledge of the relevant skill/sector.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Knowledge of Embroidery, Stitching, CAD, Textile, Handloom, Handicraft or Fashion Design will be preferred.

Freshers are not eligible.

Work Location:

Candidates from across India can apply. Assessment assignments will generally be provided near the assessor's location. Nearby travel may be required depending on assignment availability.
