🔑 key responsibilities and duties
a. site supervision and project execution (the 'supervisor' role)
the primary focus is ensuring the project is built or delivered according to plan, safely, and on time.
project oversight: oversee and manage all day-to-day operations on the site, ensuring all work adheres strictly to technical specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.
team management: manage, instruct, and supervise site labor, contractors, and subcontractors, setting work schedules, monitoring performance, and resolving on-site conflicts.
quality & safety: conduct regular site inspections, enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (hse) regulations (., osha), and implement corrective actions for quality deficiencies.
resource management: manage and track on-site resources, including materials, tools, and equipment inventory, ensuring timely ordering and preventing waste or shortages.
reporting: prepare and maintain detailed daily progress reports, site diaries, labor logs, and technical documentation for the project manager.
b. client relations and sales generation (the 'sales' role)
the secondary focus is acting as the company's representative to the client and driving new business or upselling.
client communication: act as the primary on-site liaison with the client, addressing concerns, providing transparent project updates, and managing client expectations regarding timeline and quality.
