Site Engineer (1-2 Years)

🔹 1. Site Work Supervision

Supervise installation of curtain wall, ACP, glazing, aluminium windows & doors

Ensure work is done as per approved drawings and method statement

Check alignment, level, plumb, and fixing quality

Monitor manpower productivity

🔹 2. Quality Control

Inspect incoming materials (glass, aluminium profiles, fasteners, sealant)

Ensure proper silicone application & weather sealing

Verify torque tightening of bolts and anchors

Conduct water test if required

Maintain quality checklist and inspection reports

🔹 3. Safety Management

Ensure workers use PPE (helmet, safety belt, gloves, shoes)

Monitor scaffolding and lifting equipment safety

Conduct toolbox meetings

Follow height work safety procedures (very important in facade work)

🔹 4. Coordination

Coordinate with:

Main contractor

Structural team

Civil team

Consultant / PMC

Attend site meetings

Resolve technical and site execution issues

🔹 5. Planning & Progress

Prepare daily work plan

Maintain daily progress report (DPR)

Track material requirement and inform purchase/store

Ensure work completion as per project schedule

🔹 6. Documentation

Maintain:

Work progress report

Labour attendance

Material inward/outward register

Inspection request (IR) submission

RFI (Request for Information)

🔹 7. Technical Knowledge Required

Curtain wall system details

Bracket fixing and anchoring system

Glass types (DGU, laminated, toughened)

Sealant types (structural & weather seal)

Basic reading of AutoCAD drawings

Understanding of tolerance & deflection limits
