The ideal candidate should have5-8 years of relevant experience in sheet metal design and manufacturing, with proficiency in SolidWorks. As an immediate joiner, you will be expected to hit the ground running and contribute to ongoing projects effectively.
Responsibilities:
Utilize SolidWorks to design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies according to project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand design intent, functionality, and manufacturing feasibility.
Create detailed drawings, models, and documentation for production and fabrication purposes.
Conduct design reviews and provide input to optimize designs for cost, performance and manufacturability.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from design to production, addressing any design-related issues that may arise during fabrication.
Perform tolerance analysis and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts fit and function correctly.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in sheet metal design and manufacturing technologies.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes, efficiency, and quality standards.
Adhere to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards to meet customer expectations.
