Senior Service Technician – Screw Air Compressors (Dubai)

Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Senior Service Technician – Air Compressors (Screw Element Specialist) for a leading industrial equipment company in Dubai, UAE.

This job is ONLY for candidates willing to relocate to Dubai.

This is a hands-on senior technical role requiring deep experience in rotary screw compressor servicing, screw element overhaul, troubleshooting, and field maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out complete service, overhaul & repair of rotary screw air compressors (oil-injected & oil-free).

Perform screw element overhauling including rotor assembly inspection, bearings & seals replacement, clearance checks, and re-assembly.

Diagnose faults related to low air output, high temperature, vibration, lubrication issues, and control panel alarms.

Conduct vibration analysis, noise analysis, leakage checks, and report findings.

Execute compressor installation, commissioning, testing & performance checks at customer sites.

Maintain detailed service reports, part replacement records, and maintenance logs.

Provide technical guidance and mentor junior technicians during major overhauls.

Communicate professionally with customers during breakdown visits and planned maintenance.

Mandatory Experience & Skills (Must-Have)

5–7+ years of strong hands-on experience in industrial air compressors.

Proven expertise in rotary screw compressors and screw element overhauling (oil-injected & oil-free units).

In-depth knowledge of rotor assembly, bearings, seals, O-rings, lubrication systems, and air-end rebuilds.

Ability to independently handle breakdown service, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

Experience with brands like Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Kaeser, Elgi, Sullair, Chicago Pneumatic (any major brand acceptable).

Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, control panels, sensors, and safety procedures.

Preferred Background (Nice-to-Have)

Experience working in Gulf / overseas field service.

Knowledge of piston compressors, boosters, dryers, filters, and complete compressed air systems.

Ability to read and understand technical manuals, wiring diagrams, exploded drawings.

Overseas Role Details

Job Location: Dubai, UAE

Relocation: Company will support mobilization as per policy (no extra benefits added)

Work Type: Full-time, field service & workshop overhaul

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: AED 3,500 – 5,000 per month

Other standard benefits as per UAE labour norms (accommodation/transport as per company policy)
