Role: Service Now Developer

Responsibilities:

Develop ServiceNow solutions: Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules,

and workflows to meet the organization's CMDB and ITSM requirements.

Configuration Management Database (CMDB): Implement and maintain the CMDB, including

designing and defining configuration item (CI) classes, relationships, and attributes. Ensure data

integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the CMDB.

IT Service Management (ITSM): Design and implement ITSM processes, such as incident

management, problem management, change management, and service request management, using

ServiceNow ITSM modules.

Integration and automation: Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other systems, tools, or

databases using web services, APIs, and scripting languages (JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.). Automate

manual tasks and processes within ServiceNow.

Customization and enhancement: Customize ServiceNow user interface, forms, lists, and portals to

improve user experience and streamline processes. Develop ServiceNow widgets, UI policies, and

client scripts as required.

Testing and deployment: Perform thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations, customizations,

and integrations. Plan and execute ServiceNow releases, including deployment, documentation, and

post-deployment support.

Collaboration and support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, service

desk, and other stakeholders, to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver

effective ServiceNow solutions. Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.

Documentation and training: Document technical designs, configurations, and processes related to

ServiceNow development. Conduct training sessions and create user guides for ServiceNow

functionalities and best practices.
