Service Engineer – Erection & Commissioning

We have urgent job opening for the position of Service Engineer Erection & Commissioning with an MNC conglomerate at Kolkata location. The person will be responsible for erection, commissioning, servicing, demonstration and users training. Candidates preferred from Oil & Gas industry.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Mechanical Engineer (Diploma holder) with 3 4 years experience in commissioning and servicing of Compressors / Life saving equipments

Age 28+ years but not more than 35 years.

Permanent resident in Kolkata preferred.

Ready to travel frequently within all states in Eastern Region.

Good working knowledge of computers.

Good verbal & written communication skills

Good CRM.

Strategic Thinking.

Strong Analytical Skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Support on unloading and storing of compressors to customer

· Erection support for the machines, if required.

· Advice on the compressors, Fire & Safety Equipment etc to the customer.

· Commissioning of machines.

· Training to operators.

· Preparation of commissioning certificate

· Routine Inspection of machines.

· Wear parts replacement support till operator learns it.

· Setting the quality of products.

· Setting the machines to get maximum output.

· Value generation to customer.

· Breakdown support.

· Notice the operator changes and train the new operators.

· Attend phone calls of customer, clear their doubts and support over phone

· Coordinate for the repairing of machine parts, which is sent to plant.
