Design, develop, and test embedded firmware for drone flight controllers, sensors, and other key drone subsystems.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate microcontrollers, sensors, GPS, IMUs, ESCs, and communication modules into drone systems.
Write efficient and reliable code in languages such as C, C++, and Python for real-time flight operations.
Work on developing and tuning algorithms for flight stability, navigation, obstacle detection, and autonomous behaviors.
Develop and integrate communication protocols such as MAVLink, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other wireless technologies used in drone control systems.
Perform extensive testing, debugging, and optimization of embedded firmware and hardware in both laboratory and field environments.
Implement safety-critical systems for flight control and ensure compliance with aviation standards and regulations.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration between hardware and software components.
Participate in performance tuning and contribute to improving the reliability and efficiency of the drone systems.
Document firmware designs, architectures, and testing procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
