Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Design Engineer to join our team at National Aircon India Pvt Ldt. As a Senior HVAC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing HVAC systems for various projects. This is a full-time position that requires 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

4 to 6 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and related software.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools.

Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Roles And Responsibilities

Design and analyze HVAC systems based on project requirements, codes, and standards.

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.

Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing to optimize design.

Select appropriate HVAC equipment and components to meet project specifications.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry guidelines, and safety standards.

Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.

Conduct field inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during construction and operation phases.

Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in HVAC design.
