responsibilities:

patrol and monitor:

conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the security and safety of the property.

monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.

access control:

control access points, including checking identification, verifying credentials, and ensuring authorized entry.

issue visitor passes and maintain a log of individuals entering and exiting the premises.

emergency response:

respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.

take appropriate action during incidents, such as contacting emergency services, conducting investigations, and documenting incidents.

customer service:

provide a visible and approachable presence, assisting visitors and employees as needed.

answer inquiries and provide information to the public in a courteous manner.

reporting:

prepare and submit detailed incident reports, documenting any security-related incidents, observations, or violations.

report any safety hazards and security deficiencies to the appropriate personnel.

collaboration:

collaborate with law enforcement, fire departments, and other emergency respondents as necessary.

communicate effectively with other security personnel and relevant departments.

security equipment:

operate and maintain security equipment, such as surveillance cameras, radios, and alarms.

report any malfunctions or issues with equipment.

qualifications:

high school diploma or equivalent.

proven experience as a security guard or in a related role.
