Role summary

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Science lab facilitator who can bring energy, creativity, and safety to our lab space. You will lead hands-on sessions that spark curiosity, make science fun and accessible, and help visitors build confidence in exploring on their own. You’ll also keep the lab running smoothly behind the scenes—managing equipment, organising materials, and keeping everything safe and visitor-ready.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

Leading interactive science sessions and drop-in activities in the lab

Planning and updating monthly session calendars

Supporting and guiding visitors in a friendly, approachable way

Ensuring safety standards are met and equipment is used responsibly

Maintaining and organizing lab equipment and inventory

Collaborating with our team to update and improve learning experiences

Gathering feedback from visitors and adapting based on their needs

Desired skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you must:

A graduate degree (preferably in science, education, or a related field)

A love for science and sharing it with others

Good communication skills in Hindi and English

Confidence in engaging with children and adults alike

A calm and proactive approach to managing group dynamics and safety

Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in every detail

To succeed, it would help if you:

Experience facilitating or teaching (formal or informal)

Interest in science education, museums, or interactive learning environments

Familiarity with handling lab materials and basic safety practices

Creativity and an ability to think on your feet
