position overview:
we are seeking a dynamic, visionary, and strategic leader to assume the role of school director. the successful candidate will be the academic and administrative head of the school, responsible for providing overall leadership, driving educational excellence, and ensuring the school's continued growth and reputation. the director will work closely with the board of governors, faculty, students, and parents to foster a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and high achievement.
key responsibilities:
1. strategic leadership & vision:
develop and implement the school's strategic plan in alignment with its mission, vision, and core values.
lead the school community through a shared vision for academic excellence and character development.
stay abreast of global educational trends and integrate best practices into the school's pedagogy.
2. academic excellence:
provide instructional leadership to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
oversee curriculum development, review, and implementation to ensure it is rigorous, relevant, and engaging.
monitor student academic performance and well-being, implementing support systems where needed.
foster a culture of continuous professional development for all teaching staff.
3. administrative & financial management:
manage the school's budget, resources, and infrastructure efficiently and effectively.
ensure the school's operational compliance with all regulatory bodies and educational laws in india.
oversee recruitment, retention, and performance management of high-quality faculty and staff.
4. stakeholder engagement & community building:
build strong, collaborative relationships with students, parents, alumni, and the wider community.
serve as the primary spokesperson and brand ambassador for the school.
effectively communicate the schools achievements and goals to all stakeholders.
5. student life & well-being:
champion a positive, safe, and inclusive school culture that supports the holistic development of every student.
promote student leadership, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.
qualifications & experience:
a master's degree in education, educational leadership, or a related field. a . will be highly advantageous.
a minimum of 15 years of experience in the education sector, with at least 8-10 years in a senior leadership role (., principal, vice-principal, head of school) in a reputable institution.
