📌 Job Description

The SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing SAP Fiori applications to support business processes across Client’s enterprise landscape. Working closely with business and backend teams to deliver high-quality, scalable SAP front-end solutions.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications

Build custom and standard Fiori apps using SAP Web IDE and SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs

Develop UI5 freestyle applications and work with Fiori Elements

Integrate applications with backend systems using OData services

Support Gateway services and basic ABAP coordination for backend integration

Configure and enhance Fiori Launchpad

Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization

Prepare technical documentation and user guides

Stay updated with SAP Fiori best practices and evolving technologies

🧩 Desired Skills & Competencies

✅ Must-Have

Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Frontend development (SAPUI5 / Fiori)

Strong expertise in SAPUI5 controls, components, routing, and data binding

Proven experience in UI5 Freestyle app development

Mandatory hands-on experience with:

SAP Web IDE

SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)

Strong knowledge of OData services (consume & create)

Basic understanding of SAP ABAP for backend integration

Experience with Fiori Launchpad configuration

Working knowledge of Fiori Elements and CDS views

Strong front-end skills: JavaScript, jQuery, XML, JSON, HTML5, CSS

➕ Added Advantage

Exposure to SAP BTP tools – SAP Build, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Work Zone

Experience with SAP BTP frameworks – CAP or RAP

Experience with REST / Web Service integrations
