we are seeking a seasoned sap datasphere engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. this is a remote position, ideal for professionals who excel in architecting, implementing, and optimizing sap datasphere solutions to drive business intelligence and analytics.

key responsibilities

• design, develop, and optimize sap datasphere environments.

• lead data modeling, integration, and management activities using sap datasphere tools.

• collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

• ensure data platform reliability, performance tuning, and security.

• perform troubleshooting and resolve complex technical issues across sap datasphere deployments.

• support continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate new technologies related to sap ecosystem.

• create and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and onboarding materials.

• provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers on sap datasphere standards.

required qualifications

• bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.

• 5 - 10+ years of experience in sap data warehousing, business intelligence, or related domains.

• expertise in sap datasphere (sap data warehouse cloud) solution architecture, implementation, and support.

• strong proficiency in data integration, modeling, and etl within sap environments.

• hands-on experience working remotely with global teams.

• advanced understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance, especially within sap platforms.

• excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

desired skills

• sap bw/4hana, sap hana, and cloud data platform exposure.

• experience with other analytics platforms or data lakes is a plus.

• certifications in sap datasphere or related modules preferred.
