we are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented **sap abap consultant** to join our dynamic it team. the ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom sap solutions using abap programming. this role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects across various sap modules and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.

key responsibilities

- develop and maintain custom sap applications using abap

- create and optimize reports (classical, alv), smart forms, and sap scripts

- implement enhancements using user exits, badis, and enhancement points

- integrate sap systems via bapi, rfc, and idoc

- collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements

- perform debugging, unit testing, and performance tuning

- document technical specifications and support end-user training

required qualifications

- bachelor��s degree in computer science, it, electronics, or related field (btech, be, bsc, mca, bca)

- strong understanding of abap programming and sap data dictionary

- familiarity with sap modules like mm, sd, fi is a plus

- good analytical and problem-solving skills

- excellent communication and teamwork abilities

preferred skills

- knowledge of object-oriented abap and abap on hana (cds views, amdp)

- exposure to sap fiori/ui5 or s/4han

- sap abap certification
