key responsibilities
i. sales management & business development
achieve sales targets: set, monitor, and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals (quotas).
lead generation & conversion: proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities and leads through market research, cold outreach, networking, and digital channels.
client relationship management: build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, including managing key accounts and nurturing customer loyalty.
presentations & negotiations: conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients; negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
sales pipeline management: manage the entire sales funnel from initial contact through to closing deals, utilizing a crm (customer relationship management) system.
ii. marketing strategy & campaign execution
strategy development: formulate and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with the company's business objectives and sales goals.
campaign management: design, plan, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, print, events, etc.) to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
market research: conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, consumer behavior, competitor activities, and new market opportunities.
content & collateral: collaborate with creative teams (internal or external) to develop engaging marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, website content, and digital ads.
brand management: ensure brand consistency in all marketing and sales communications.
iii. analysis, reporting, and budgeting
performance tracking: monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of both sales activities and marketing campaigns using kpis (key performance indicators) and web analytics.
data-driven decisions: use sales data and market insights to refine strategies, optimize campaigns, and inform product development.
budget management: oversee and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring activities are cost-effective and deliver a high return on investment (roi).
