Looking For Riggers

We are seeking an experienced Rigger to join our team in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and securing loads, ensuring safety and efficiency in various lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load Rigging: You will be responsible for attaching loads to crane hooks or other lifting devices, making sure they are secure and balanced for safe movement.

- Equipment Inspection: Before each job, you will inspect all rigging equipment, such as slings, hoists, and pulleys, to ensure they are in good working condition and compliant with safety standards.

- Collaboration with Crew: You will work closely with the crane operators and other team members to communicate the lifting plan and ensure everyone understands their roles in the operation.

- Safety Compliance: It is essential to follow all safety guidelines and regulations during rigging operations to protect yourself and your colleagues from accidents.

- Documentation: You will be required to document rigging activities accurately and report any issues that arise during operations, helping maintain safety records.

Required Skills and Expectations:

Candidates must have a diploma and a minimum of 3 to 7 years of rigging experience in the construction or manufacturing industry. Strong physical fitness and the ability to work at height are crucial. Effective communication skills are necessary for teamwork, and a solid understanding of safety protocols is essential.
