- Conduct respiratory assessments: Perform thorough evaluations of patients' respiratory conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer treatments: Administer medications, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers to improve patients' breathing.
- Monitor patient progress: Regularly assess and monitor patients' respiratory status, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients: Provide clear and concise instructions to patients and their families on managing respiratory conditions and using prescribed medications and equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Skills and Expectations:
- Diploma in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Valid respiratory therapy license in the United Arab Emirates.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with experience in critical care settings preferred.
