The first milestone of Provincial Automobiles began when the founder of this legacy, Shri Purushottam.B.Kale, an Electrical & Mechanical Engineer from the Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore, started his journey in the automobile industry by being the only Dealer for Ford Motor Company and Fordson Tractors for 32 districts of Central Provinces & Berar. In 1952, after the discontinuation of Imports of Motor Vehicles by the Government of India, Provincial Auto continued to efficiently maintain the service facility to its customer base. Its workshop was considered to be one of the best facilities in Central India.
