Hiring For Research Counsellor Freshers

We are hiring Research Counsellors for our Chennai OMR office.

The role involves speaking with students, researchers, professionals, and early-stage innovators to understand their research-related needs and guide them through suitable research, publication, IP, DeepTech, academic support, and consulting service pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel prospects on research guidance, academic support, publication support, IP, innovation, and consulting-related service pathways.

Understand the prospect’s academic background, domain, problem statement, research stage, urgency, documentation status, and service fit.

Convert enquiries into clear internal notes for consultants, admissions staff, research coordinators, and operations teams.

Explain scope, process, documentation requirements, timelines, role boundaries, and next steps without overpromising results.

Maintain daily follow-ups and update lead status accurately in trackers or CRM systems.

Coordinate with Admissions Counsellors when a prospect is ready for onboarding or interview scheduling.

Escalate technically complex, sensitive, high-value, or unclear cases to senior consultants or managers.

Eligibility:

Any completed degree.

No standing arrears.

Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.

Good communication skills required.

Tamil communication is preferred for Chennai/Tamil Nadu candidate handling.

Location: OMR, Chennai

Work Mode: Work from office only

Work Week: 5 working days

Shift: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM OR 1:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Salary: INR 12,000 to INR 40,000 per month during the initial contract stage
